With two, three or more pets, paperwork multiplies. One missing vaccine card can derail a boarding stay. A simple system keeps everything straight.

Give each pet their own profile

Separate profiles, with clear names and photos, prevent mix-ups. Include species, breed, birthdate, weight and microchip number for each.

Use consistent file names

Name documents the same way each time, such as "Luna Rabies 2026" or "Milo Dental Cleaning 2025." Consistency makes searching easy.

Sort by type, not just by pet

Within each profile, group documents by vaccines, medical history, insurance, travel and medications.

Track due dates

List each pet's vaccines, prevention doses and annual exams, then set reminders in a separate phone calendar. Staggered due dates are easy to miss when you have several pets.

Give caregivers the records they need

Download or prepare selected documents and send them separately through a trusted channel. Do not share your sign-in credentials or assume Waggle Vault has caregiver invitations.

Do an annual review

Once a year, check that every pet's records are complete, expired items are flagged and old files are archived.

Use one place for everything

A digital pet health vault lets you add documents for each pet in one app, so you don't have a drawer for each. Waggle Vault is designed for storing pet documents and keeping them organized.

For health questions about any of your pets, chat with a licensed vet on Waggle Vet. For routine exams, find a nearby veterinarian.

FAQs

Can I keep everything for all pets in one folder?

You can, but separate profiles prevent mix-ups.

What if one pet is a bird or exotic pet?

Keep the same type of records. Species-specific details, such as diet and enclosure notes, are helpful.
